WILL RR FINALLY GET LUCKY IN MUMBAI AGAINST MI - IPL 2024

Over the last sixteen IPL seasons, Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) have had a mixed record. In face to face encounters, MI is slightly ahead of RR. Of the 28 games that have been played between them, MI has won 15 of them, and RR has won 12. One match had no result.

MI has dominated their last few encounters with RR. When examining the last five meetings, MI has won four of them while RR has only won one. Both sides have excelled in their home arenas. Having won five of the eight games versus RR at Wankhede Stadium, MI has a great record there. On the other hand, RR has had success at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, defeating MI 5 times out of 7 times at home.

In IPL 2024, RR is coming in this game with two back to back wins against DC and LSG. Their top batting order has contributed as required and the bowling  has been adequate.

MI is coming here with back to back losses. They lost the opening match to GT and to SRH in a high scoring run fest. The batting was adequate but there were no match winning innings from both batters and bowlers.

Sanju Sampson has won the toss and RR has decided to bowl first. The crowd is booing Pandya and seems hostile.
